The gated community attempts to appeal to all aspects of an active adult lifestyle. Tradition Hilton Head – Tradition Hilton Head will be a South Carolina retirement town filled with active adult retirees living in their town, rather than a retirement community. Tradition is located near Hardeeville, South Carolina’s Lowcountry, 20 minutes from Hilton Head Island and Savannah, Georgia. The Lowcountry has been a vacation destination area since the 1950s. Tradition Hilton Head will be sited on approximately 5,300 acres of lakes and woodlands.
