Charleston Antiques Show
High-end antiques from first-class vendors are the name of the game at the prestigious Charleston Antiques Show. There will be about 30 world-class antique dealers on hand for this exclusive South Carolina event that runs from March 15 through 17. There is also a VIP Preview Party that you will definitely want to attend if you are serious about your antiques.
Catawba Valley Pottery & Antiques Festival
Another great place to find a huge selection of antiques is the Catawba Valley Pottery & Antiques Festival in Hickory, NC on March 23. In addition to antiques, there will also be amazing handcrafted pottery on display from more than 115 vendors.
Tarheel Antiques Festival
And if you get to the end of the month and still feel like you haven’t seen enough antiques, there is always the Tarheel Antiques Festival in Efland, NC on March 29 to 31. This event is hosted on an 800-acre farm and will feature dozens of vendors and an open antique auction.

Charleston Wine + Food
The foodies of South Carolina are starting the month of March off the right way with Charleston Wine + Food happening from March 6 through 10. There are more than 50 different events scheduled around the city over this long weekend, and each of them does something unique to highlight southern cuisine and Lowcountry cooking.
Cape Fear Craft Beer Week
Craft beer lovers will want to plan on spending the last week of March in Wilmington, NC for Cape Fear Craft Beer Week. Local breweries, bottle shops, and restaurants will all be pitching in to come up with fun events and activities all over the area during the week.
Outer Banks Taste of the Beach
Nags Head is going to be another great place to be during the last weekend of March. Foodies will be taking over during the Outer Banks Taste of the Beach with everything that the Outer Banks Restaurant Association has planned. 20th Annual Nevermore Film Festival
If horror, science fiction, and dark fantasy films are your idea of a good time, then you won’t want to miss the 20th Annual Nevermore Film Festival at the Carolina Theatre in Durham on March 8 to 10. This festival is a juried competition for brand new feature and short films, so you are going to be seeing the cutting edge of modern movie making.
Eric Church: Double Down Tour
For something a little less cerebral and a bit more exciting, you won’t want to miss one of the biggest country music stars in the world coming to the Greensboro Coliseum on March 15 and 16. Eric Church is the modern face of country music, and his shows are always filled with nonstop energy.
Underexposed Film Festival YC
Another film festival happening in March is the Underexposed Film Festival YC in Rock Hill, SC from March 27 to 30. This festival focuses its efforts on relatively unknown filmmakers who are doing creative or interesting things with short films.
Festival of Houses and Gardens
There is quite a bit happening around Charleston, SC this month, and another event there that you won’t want to miss is the Festival of Houses and Gardens that starts on March 13 and runs through the middle of April. This is a fantastic opportunity to see inside a wide range of private homes throughout Charleston’s stunning historic district.
Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic
Billed as “the largest family-oriented wildlife show in the Carolinas,” the Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic is a can’t-miss event for anyone who is passionate about the great outdoors. It will be taking over the State Fairgrounds in Columbia, SC from March 22 to 24 with more fishing, hunting, and camping equipment on display than you will find anywhere else.
Fremont Daffodil Festival
Fremont, NC will be a fun place to be on March 30 for the Fremont Daffodil Festival. There will be plenty of beautiful daffodils on display, and there will also be live music, food, and plenty of other fun things to keep you busy.
